R Ashwin is mighty impressed with two Indian players after the ODI series against South Africa. The veteran player lauded Kuldeep Yadav after his performance in the third and final ODI.
Ashwin feels Kuldeep is one of the best writs-spinners and can be a match-winner in Test cricket.
After taking one wicket each in the first two one-day internationals against the Proteas, Kuldeep was phenomenal in Delhi, picking up four wickets.
“Kuldeep Yadav can bowl probing line and length time and again. That’s a good quality for a spinner,” he said.
Ashwin also hailed Shardul Thakur for his all-round display, saying he can make an impact with the bat and ball.
“He can make things happen with the bat and ball. He picked up wickets and scored runs when we were struggling. He formed an important partnership with Sanju Samson.”
